Step-by-step in Forge MES
- Walk through the physical production process and match each area to a Forge MES record.
- Confirm which Line receives the first operation for every product type.
- Confirm Line capacities using a small realistic production quantity.
- Confirm every operation and failure path has a usable Station.
Rules to remember
- Do not compensate for missing Lines by creating extra Stations.
- Do not mark every Line as a Starting Line unless units can genuinely begin there.
- Repair Stations must be planned before Routings are built.
Configure for the client
- Match Sites, Lines, Stations, Repair Stations, Shifts, capacity, calendars, ownership, and naming conventions to the client's approved physical factory model.
- Validate the configured behaviour with approved test data in the target environment before production use.
Ready when
- Required Sites exist.
- Lines are active, correctly typed, and have explicit capacity.
- Initial Lines are marked as Starting Lines.
- Operation and Repair Stations exist at valid Sites.
- At least one valid Shift exists.
