Step-by-step in Forge
Navigation: Manufacturing → Process & Engineering → Stations
- Open Stations: Open Process & Engineering and select Stations.
- Create an operation Station: Select Create Station, then enter its Name, unique Code, and description.
- Place and classify it: Select the correct Site, production area, and Station Category or Station type.
- Configure execution: Add devices, tools, or automation settings only when the Station requires them.
- Create the Repair Station: Repeat the process and choose the Repair type for the dedicated failure-handling Station.
- Save and verify: Select Save and confirm both Stations are active and available in Routing operations.

Rules to remember
- Station name, code, and Site are required.
- Every operation node in the current Routing builder requires a Repair Station.
- The Repair Station cannot be the same Station as the operation itself.
- Automatic Stations are used for configured automation; regular Stations expect operator interaction.
