- Statuses and Route Logs
How the workflow connects
This journey connects the following stages. Complete the required checks at each stage before moving forward.
- 01Recommended
Plant dashboard
Use the Dashboard to review setup readiness, active Work Orders, production Stations, active Products, Clients, Projects, production completion, and quality targets for the selected Plant.
Provides the controlled input for the next stage. - 02Recommended
Work Order risk
Use Track Progress for the live board. It refreshes at the interval configured in the deployed environment and supports Station filters, completed highlighting, samples-only, sorting, and fullscreen.
Provides the controlled input for the next stage. - 03Recommended
Work Order metrics
Use Production Tasks to verify Serial, task ID, grouping, Work Order, Line, Product/Routing, and status. A serial can have multiple task records, including a later repair task, so confirm the Work Order and Line before acting.

Step-by-step in Forge MES
- Use the Dashboard to review setup readiness, active Work Orders, production Stations, active Products, Clients, Projects, production completion, and quality targets for the selected Plant.
- Use Track Progress for the live board. It refreshes at the interval configured in the deployed environment and supports Station filters, completed highlighting, samples-only, sorting, and fullscreen.
- Use Production Tasks to verify Serial, task ID, grouping, Work Order, Line, Product/Routing, and status. A serial can have multiple task records, including a later repair task, so confirm the Work Order and Line before acting.
Rules to remember
- A dashboard summarises records; the underlying records remain the source of evidence.
- Route Log summary totals reflect the current filters.
- Takt and cycle metrics use completed execution time; yield is passed quality steps divided by completed steps.
- The same serial can have multiple task records, so task status must be interpreted with its Work Order and Line.
Configure for the client
- Match KPIs, dashboard filters, alert thresholds, shift handovers, maintenance plans, report access, export schedules, and audit review cadence to the client's governance model.
- Validate the configured behaviour with approved test data in the target environment before production use.
Ready when
- Plant-level counts and targets match the selected Plant.
- Dashboard filters show the intended Product, Work Order, Line, Station, Shift, and time range.
- Production Task and Route Log details support the dashboard totals before the figures are used for a handover or report.
