How the workflow connects
This journey connects the following stages. Complete the required checks at each stage before moving forward.

Open Product
Open the Product detail and scroll to Assigned Lines.
Provides the controlled input for the next stage. - 02Required
Open Assigned Lines
Select Assign Line and open the Select Line control.
Provides the controlled input for the next stage. - 03Required
Review Line availability
Review Available Lines separately from Lines assigned to other Products; use the code and Site to choose the correct Line.

Assign eligible Line
Select Assign, then repeat only for other Lines that can physically manufacture the same Product.

Verify assignment
Verify each assigned Line's name, code, status, capacity per hour, Site, and actions in the table.

- Open the Product detail and scroll to Assigned Lines.
- Select Assign Line and open the Select Line control.
- Review Available Lines separately from Lines assigned to other Products; use the code and Site to choose the correct Line.
- Select Assign, then repeat only for other Lines that can physically manufacture the same Product.
- Verify each assigned Line's name, code, status, capacity per hour, Site, and actions in the table.
Rules to remember
- At least one Line assignment is needed to enable multi-line Work Order execution for the Product.
- Assign only Lines that can physically manufacture the Product.
- Starting-Line eligibility is configured separately on the Line, not in the Product assignment dialog.
Configure for the client
- Match Routings, Operations, Station eligibility, Line assignments, work instructions, validation rules, and identifier formats to the client's approved manufacturing process.
- Validate the configured behaviour with approved test data in the target environment before production use.
Ready when
- The Product has at least one eligible assigned Line.
- Assigned Line codes and Sites match the intended physical process.
- The table shows the expected status and capacity for every assignment.
