Map-based Shipping Zones

Shipping zones now support map-based serviceable areas alongside pincode, city, and state options. Merchants can draw the exact area they want to serve instead of making an entire pincode serviceable. This helps quick-commerce and local delivery brands reduce non-serviceable orders, keep delivery promises, and lower cancellations and RTO. Key Highlights:

  • Choose a center point: Merchants can choose a center point, such as a store or any fulfillment location, and draw the zone around it based on travel time or distance.
  • Time-based zones: Merchants can define shipping zones based on delivery time which would cover areas which can be delivered within a specific timeframe like 30 mins.
  • Distance-based zones: Merchants can also define a serviceable radius around a store like 10KM.
  • Manual Polygon: Merchants can also draw a custom polygon on a map that matches real-world serviceable areas on a map.
  • Dead zones (exclusions): Merchants can exclude buildings, societies, airports, or restricted blocks that delivery partners don’t serve—inside an otherwise serviceable area.
