A physical store is capped by its own floor space. Reliance Trends today shows around 2,000 SKUs on the floor at any one location out of a catalogue that's far larger, and when a customer's size or colour isn't physically there, they walk out. Every garment on that floor also carries markdown risk - it sits unsold for roughly 45 days on average - and a meaningful share of what does sell online comes back because the fit was wrong, with returns running at 8.5% online.
The instinct in fast fashion has always been to hold more stock closer to the customer. Fynd Horizon starts from the opposite premise: stop guessing what a customer's exact size and preference will be, and instead let them scan, try on virtually, and buy, then manufacture that exact garment to order without ever holding it as inventory.
Horizon turns a Reliance Trends store into a portal onto a much larger catalogue, without a single extra square foot of shelf. A body scan feeds a virtual try-on that shows a customer any of the brand's SKUs on their own body, a purchase kicks off manufacturing automatically, and the order routes either to a nearby dark store for a standard-fit item in half an hour, or to a partner factory for a made-to-measure garment cut and sewn in a day or two. It's already live: a first store went live at the end of March 2026, a Mumbai cluster followed a month later, and the Tirupur factory behind the made-to-order side has been running a 24-hour manufacturing cycle since late March.
The same store now surfaces 50,000-plus SKUs pulled live from JCP's unified catalogue, instead of the roughly 2,000 that physically fit on the floor - a 25x jump in reach from the same footprint.
Made-to-order garments carry zero days of inventory holding, against roughly 45 days for stock sitting on a physical rack today - nothing gets made until it's sold.
A body scan accurate enough to eliminate most sizing-driven returns is targeting under 2%, against 8.5% for online orders today.

5. The garment gets made from raw fabric, not pulled off a shelf, cut and sewn to the customer's exact measurements.
6. It arrives - in half an hour from a local dark store for a standard size, or in a day or two from the partner factory for a made-to-measure piece.
