Reliance's hiring ran on multiple ATS systems, siloed candidate data, and a recruiter's day spent on data entry instead of judgement. HireFirst replaces it with one AI-native pipeline.
Hiring at a company the size of Reliance runs into the same problem most large, multi-business enterprises hit: the hiring stack itself is fragmented. Different business units used different ATS systems, candidate data sat siloed between them, and there was no way to score or compare candidates consistently across the group. A recruiter's day went largely to manual screening and data entry rather than actual judgement calls.
On top of that, hiring vendors operated against inconsistent SLAs with no central way to measure their performance, and leadership had no real-time view into hiring health across the organisation - no way to see, at the apex level, where hiring was working and where it wasn't.
HireFirst is Fynd's AI-native Hiring OS which replaces the fragmented stack with one pipeline running from job creation through to offer, with SAP OM as the single source of truth feeding it through a daily sync. Nine modules are already live on SIT, with production sign-off targeted for 15 June 2026.
HireFirst connects to Reliance's SAP OM system via RFC across nine entity types - jobs, requisitions, org units, people, positions, vacancies, users, candidates and resumes - synced daily, turning what used to be manual job creation into a single click.
When a recruiter downvotes a candidate's AI score and gives a reason, HireFirst applies a ranking penalty and recalibrates its scoring for future candidates on that same role, building a structured feedback loop into every hiring decision.
A single click fills in missing candidate details - phone, email, role, company - by pulling from Apollo.io's contact database of more than 275 million profiles.
A recruiter's day-to-day on HireFirst looks like this:
1. A vacancy syncs in automatically from SAP OM, or a recruiter creates a job role on the fly directly inside the Instant Interview flow, no separate job setup required.
2. Candidate profiles get enriched automatically with missing contact and role details, filled in with one click.
3. HireFirst's AI scores each candidate against the role, and a recruiter can downvote a score with a reason if it's off, which recalibrates future scoring on that job.
4. Interview scheduling and rejection emails go out from ready-made templates with dynamic details filled in automatically and triggered at the right hiring stage.
5. Candidates apply and track their own status through a dedicated portal, built to be crawled cleanly by job-aggregator sites.
6. If a candidate needs to be excluded from consideration platform-wide, a recruiter can blocklist them while keeping the profile searchable for reference, with that action restricted by role.
HireFirst runs on four layers, with a subset live for Reliance today and the rest expanding over the roadmap:
