RTO Risk Score - Identify Risk Before Dispatch

Return-to-origin shipments impact margins through forward shipping costs, reverse logistics, delayed inventory recovery, operational follow-ups, and lost sales. By the time a delivery fails, the cost has already been incurred. Fynd OMS now helps merchants act earlier with the AI-powered RTO Risk Score.

When an order is created, OMS assigns a 0–100 shipment-level risk score to help teams identify shipments that may have a higher chance of resulting in RTO. The score is shown with a simple green, amber, or red indicator, making it easy to spot low, medium, and high-risk shipments at a glance.

The score goes beyond visibility by showing the key signals contributing to the prediction. These may include COD behaviour, customer history, phone and address quality, delivery location, order attributes, product attributes, and logistics patterns.

For high-risk shipments, OMS also recommends the next best action so teams can intervene before dispatch and reduce the chances of avoidable RTO.
With RTO Risk Score, merchants can:

  • Identify risk early with a clear score and colour indicator

  • Understand what is driving the risk through shipment-specific signals

  • Act before dispatch with practical recommendations

This helps fulfilment teams move from reacting after failed deliveries to preventing avoidable RTOs before they impact margins.

Currency Selection on Manual Orders

Merchants creating manual orders in Fynd OMS can now select the order currency upfront. Once a currency is selected, product prices are automatically populated from the configured price factory for that currency. This removes the need for manual price lookups, reduces entry errors, and ensures the order starts with the correct currency-specific pricing. Prices remain fully editable, so teams can still override any value before placing the order, just as they do today. For merchants selling internationally, manual orders can now be created in the customer's currency with the correct market pricing - automatically.
