Fynd’s Sreeraman MG to Co-Lead Global Tech Advocates' RetailTech Group Alongside Oliver Kaye
Announced at Source Fashion London, the leadership transition brings together commerce infrastructure and international retail operating expertise to guide the network's next chapter
Jul 14, 2026, London, UK: Sreeraman MG (SMG), Founder of Fynd, has been appointed Co-Lead of the Global Tech Advocates (GTA) RetailTech Group, alongside Oliver Kaye, international retail leader with CEO and senior leadership experience across global brands including Lenskart, Tesco, Selfridges, Gap India, and Calvin Klein India. The transition was announced at Source Fashion London by Russ Shaw CBE, Founder of Tech London Advocates and Global Tech Advocates.
GTA RetailTech is a global ideas network connecting the founders building retail technology with the retailers deploying it, bringing entrepreneurs and technology builders together with brands and operators in equal measure. The group focuses on the future of retail, including AI and automation, data and loyalty, supply chain and fulfillment, payments, sustainability, and marketplaces, and convenes through one flagship in-person gathering once a year.
For the UK, the appointment strengthens the country's position as a hub for global retail innovation, giving founders operating in the region or those looking to expand in the UK direct access to international operators, providing retailers an earlier read on the technologies shaping commerce elsewhere in the world.
Together, SMG and Oliver bring more than two decades of combined experience across India, Southeast Asia, the Middle East and the UK spanning retail technology infrastructure and international retail operations. The pair will lead the group's approximately 1,000 members, with further plans to be announced later this summer. Both are looking forward to contributing to the community by bringing founders and retailers closer together and sharing the market signals shaping retail's next phase globally.

Sreeraman MG's appointment follows a decade observing retail technology evolve across India, Southeast Asia, the Middle East and now the UK, and comes as Fynd deepens its presence and partnerships across the region's retail and technology ecosystem.
The GTA RetailTech Group was built over several years by a wider group of contributors, growing the network to nearly 1,000 Advocates. SMG and Oliver take over leadership of the group from Russ Shaw CBE with Ani Kaprekar catalyzing the appointment, and Jack Porteous and Eoife Huo supporting the leadership transition.
