Discover how Nanobot used a unified B2B ordering platform to manage order management, improve inventory visibility and create a scalable foundation for future growth.

Nanobot Solutions manufactures vacuum-insulated stainless steel bottles, flasks and drinkware, supplying products to distributors and retailers across India. As order volumes grew, the company wanted to move away from manual order handling and build a digital B2B ordering experience that could support its operations today while preparing the business for future growth.
Distributors placed orders through WhatsApp, emails, phone calls and spreadsheets. While this worked at smaller volumes, managing hundreds of orders from different channels made it harder to keep operations organized and respond quickly.
Inventory availability was not always visible during order processing. Teams often had to verify stock manually before confirming orders, especially when multiple product variants, sizes and colors were involved.
Nanobot wanted more than an online ordering portal. The business needed a platform that could bring together customers, products, pricing, fulfilment and reporting while leaving room to add warehouse, logistics and field sales capabilities in the future.
Fynd built a secure portal where approved distributors and retailers could browse products, place bulk orders, request quotations, download invoices and track every order through a single interface.
Instead of managing orders across different tools, Nanobot's operations team could review every order from one dashboard, approve or reject requests, process split shipments and monitor fulfilment from a single workflow.
The platform connected product catalogues with inventory visibility, helping teams make fulfilment decisions based on actual availability. AI-powered order intake also reduced the effort of processing purchase orders received as Excel or PDF files.
The implementation was designed as the first step of a larger digital commerce strategy. As Nanobot expands, the same platform can support warehouse management, transport management, field sales and B2C commerce without requiring another implementation.
Distributor orders, approvals, invoices and fulfilment are now managed through a single platform, reducing dependence on fragmented communication and manual coordination.
Operations teams have a clearer view of orders, inventory and fulfilment, while distributors benefit from a more transparent ordering experience with order tracking and self-service capabilities.
With its B2B commerce operations digitized, Nanobot now has a scalable platform that can support a larger distributor network, higher order volumes and additional commerce capabilities as the business continues to grow.
A B2B commerce platform is software that enables manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors to sell products digitally to retailers and business customers. It centralizes product catalogs, pricing, ordering, inventory, payments and order management, allowing businesses to streamline B2B sales from one platform.
A distributor ordering portal gives distributors and retailers a self-service way to browse products, place bulk orders, request quotations, download invoices and track deliveries. It reduces manual order processing while improving visibility and accuracy for both manufacturers and their trade partners.
A B2B order management system centralizes every stage of the order lifecycle, from order placement and approval to inventory allocation, fulfilment and dispatch. This helps businesses process orders faster, reduce manual coordination and maintain complete visibility across operations.
Yes. Modern B2B commerce platforms support customer-specific price lists, contract pricing, quantity-based discounts, quotations, promotions and credit terms. This allows manufacturers to manage different commercial agreements without relying on manual pricing processes.
Real-time inventory visibility allows distributors to see product availability before placing orders, reducing stock-related delays and improving order accuracy. It also helps manufacturers make fulfilment decisions based on actual inventory instead of manual stock verification.
A unified B2B commerce platform connects distributor ordering, inventory, catalog management, pricing, order management and reporting in one system. Instead of switching between multiple tools, businesses can manage the entire B2B commerce operation from a single platform while remaining ready to scale into warehouse management, logistics and additional sales channels.
