New Feature
Merchandising: Customise Search Results
With the merchandising feature, merchants can curate search results for the customers. Conditions are defined in the search queries to trigger a rule. Subsequently, merchandising actions such as pinning, boosting, hiding, or burying products in search listings are defined.
Merchandising conditions include:
- Pin: Elevating certain products to appear prominently in search results, ensuring they are highly visible to customers.
- Boost: Increasing the relevance or ranking of products with specific attributes, making them more likely to appear higher in search results.
- Hide: Suppressing the display of certain products from search results effectively removing them from visibility.
- Bury: Decreasing the prominence or ranking of products with specific attributes, pushing them lower in search results.

New Feature
Introducing Synonyms at Application Level
Customers often use different terms to search for the same product, influenced by language, region, and colloquial phrases. This feature allows merchants to add synonyms to their sales channels for more accurate search results.
- Two-way Synonym: Bidirectional synonyms where searching for one term will show results for both the searched term and its synonym. For example, if "pants" and "trousers" are set as two-way synonyms, a search for "pants" will return results for both "pants" and "trousers."
- One-way Synonym: Unidirectional synonyms where searching for one term will show results for its synonyms, but the reverse doesn't apply. For instance, if "pants" and "trousers" are one-way synonyms, a search for "pants" will show both "pants" and "trousers," but a search for "trousers" will only show "trousers."

New Feature
Improved Search Suggestions for Better Customer Experience
The improved autocomplete search feature is designed to provide a more relevant and efficient search experience for customers, ensuring that they quickly find what they are looking for. Merchants can now configure and enable various search suggestion types. Each suggestion type allows merchants to define the maximum number of suggestions visible to customers in the search results.
- Product Suggestions: Enable this to display product suggestions during a search. Customers are redirected to the product page upon selecting a suggestion.
- Collection Suggestions: Enable this to display collection suggestions during a search. Customers are redirected to the relevant collection page upon selecting a suggestion.
- Brand Suggestions: Enable this to display brand suggestions during a search. Customers are redirected to a listing page filtered by the selected brand.
- Category Suggestions: Enable this to display category suggestions during a search. Customers are redirected to a listing page filtered by the selected category.

New Feature
Seller BuyBox
This feature allows merchants to configure the display and selection of sellers/selling locations on the Product Detail Page (PDP), incorporating ranking logic for products sold from multiple selling locations or by multiple sellers. The BuyBox configuration can be enabled from the Features section which offers two options:
- Displaying seller or selling location names on the PDP page.
- Allowing customers to choose from the available list of sellers or selling locations.
In sales channels where products are sold by a single company and the buybox is enabled, a store buybox is presented. This buybox includes a list of selling locations from which the product is available for purchase. The sorting order for store buybox is by order routing rule. By default, the store buybox is displayed.
Conversely, in scenarios where the company functions as a marketplace, and products are sold by multiple sellers with diverse selling locations, a seller buybox is showcased. In this seller buybox, only unique sellers are displayed.
For the sorting order of sellers in a seller buybox, first the stores for respective company are sorted by order routing rule. Then the identified company along with the store are sorted by seller buybox settings. For sorting, price is by default the highest priority and it can not be changed.

New Feature
Promise Calculation Configuration
Delivery promise is a commitment made by a merchant to customers about when their order will be delivered. It considers factors like how long it takes for the store to process the order, and the time it takes for the delivery partner to bring the order to the customer, and adds a buffer time for any unexpected delays. This feature improves the accuracy of delivery promises by refining the calculation process and by giving more control to merchants over promises.
Here's a simplified breakdown:
- Streamlined Formula: Improving the promise calculation method by using precise calculations based on available variables.
- Configurability for Merchants: Enabling merchants to configure promise-related parameters according to their specific requirements and business practices.
- Store variables in promise: Merchants can include variables like Store operational timings, Order acceptance timing, Order processing timing and Store holidays in promise calculation. Based on the selections made here, promise will be calculated.
- Delivery partner variables in promise: Merchants can pick up cut-off timings of delivery partners, TAT and holiday calendar followed by delivery partners. Merchants can also choose to show promise based on the minimum and maximum promise of all eligible delivery partners.
- Buffer Time: Merchants can add buffer time in promise to accommodate any unexpected delays in promise.

Enhancement
Delivery Zones Management
This update allows merchants to define specific geographical regions for their products, giving them control over where their products can be sold and fulfilled. Delivery zone settings are available at the sales channel level, providing more flexibility for merchants, including third-party vendors, to select or create zones for their selling or shipping capabilities.
When a new sales channel is created, a default delivery zone is automatically set, covering the merchant’s base country. This default zone cannot be deleted or edited. It will only be disabled once the merchant creates a new zone, and if all zones are deleted or disabled, the default zone will be re-enabled automatically.

Enhancement
Enhanced Filtering and Sorting for Delivery Partners and Stores
Previously, merchants could not select Delivery Partners (DPs) and Stores for basic prioritisation in custom rules. Now, the Fynd Commerce platform introduces this capability, allowing for better control and flexibility in rule configurations. A new DP capability filter has been added to the right panel, enabling merchants to refine their selection based on specific capabilities.
Similarly, Store Type and Store Tag filters have been introduced to enhance store selection, replacing the previously required condition parameters. Additionally, we have introduced manual sorting in both the DP and Store rule engines. This allows merchants to set priority manually for basic prioritisation, giving them greater control over the ranking of DPs and Stores as per their business needs. These improvements ensure consistency, enhance usability, and make the filtering, sorting, and prioritisation process more seamless and efficient.

Enhancement
Rule Engine Configuration with Additional Attribute Parameters
We have introduced several enhancements to improve packaging and rule engine sorting workflows, providing merchants with greater flexibility and control over their logistics processes. In packaging enhancements, merchants can now use department and product attributes as parameters to create targeted packaging product groups and define packaging rules more effectively.
For the Store and Delivery Partner (DP) Rule Engine enhancements, merchants can now manually sort stores and DPs in basic prioritisation, giving them more control over logistics management. Additionally, companies have been added as a parameter, allowing merchants to apply rules based on specific companies. Furthermore, department and product attributes are now available as parameters in both the Store and DP Rule Engines, ensuring better customisation and consistency across rule configurations.

Store Credit as a Payment Method on Storefront
Previously, Store Credits could only be redeemed for in-store purchases via Store OS, but now customers can also apply their available Store Credits during online checkout. This feature allows customers to redeem their credits for partial or full payment of their orders, enhancing flexibility and improving the overall shopping experience. Store Credits will be displayed during the checkout process, making it easy for customers to use them while placing online orders.

New Feature
Plan Deactivation and Merchant Notification Process
If a merchant fails to select a new plan before the existing plan expiry, a block screen appears, requiring them to choose a plan to continue using the platform. This ensures a smooth transition with minimal disruption. To keep them well-informed, the following notifications are also sent:
- Email Notifications: Merchants receive emails at least 7 days before deactivation with key details and a CTA to select a new plan.
- In-Platform Banner: A prominent banner on the dashboard notifies merchants of the deactivation and provides a direct link to select a new plan.
- Personalised Communication: Dedicated account managers may personally reach out to support merchants during this process.

Enhancement
Configurable recon state at ordering channel
Admins can now easily manage and customise reconciliation (recon) states—order progress stages—based on business needs and order types. Previously fixed, these states can now be configured for specific companies, sales channels, and order categories.
Additionally, the system clearly displays transaction fee refund percentages for returns, cancellations, and RTO (Return to Origin) orders. However, recon states must be configured during the plan creation phase. Once a plan is created and subscribed to by a merchant, these states cannot be modified.

Enhanced Customer Profiling & User Group Creation
This enhancement empowers merchants to define and manage a diverse set of customer attributes, including drop-downs, dates, date-time fields, and more, while also supporting multi-value entries for number and text attributes.
With this enhancement, merchants can capture a wide range of customer information effectively. Additionally, it facilitates the creation of user groups based on these attributes, allowing for targeted actions such as generating promotions, coupons, and other personalised engagements tailored to specific customer segments.
