Promotions & Coupons

Issue Resolved

Automatic Coupon Archiving Logic

We’ve implemented an automatic archiving logic for coupons to improve platform efficiency and coupon management. Coupons will now be auto-archived under the following conditions:

  • If a coupon is inactive or active from its last modified date to 3 months.
  • Active coupons without any future live schedule.

Once a coupon is archived:

  • It will no longer be visible on the storefront or usable by customers.
  • Platform users cannot access the coupon via its URL.
  • Merchants shall be able to create a coupon using the same code.

User & Authentication

New Feature

Customisable Permissions for Product and Inventory Management in the Team Section

The Product permission now incorporates Inventory and Catalog permissions, offering better flexibility and access control:

  • Inventory Permission: Securely manage inventory with access to view, add, or update stock. Bulk actions like inventory import/export will only be available with this permission.
  • Catalog Permission: Manage the product catalog — create, update, delete products (individually or in bulk), and organise categories effectively.

Members with full Products permission will have both Inventory and Catalog enabled by default. Permissions can also be customised by enabling either, allowing merchants to customie access based on roles.

Order Management System

New Feature

Introducing the Non-Delivery Report (NDR) for Merchants: Manage Failed Deliveries with Ease

We’ve added the Non-Delivery Report (NDR) feature to help merchants effectively manage failed delivery attempts and minimise Return to Origin (RTO). Here’s how it enhances delivery issue resolution:

  • Dedicated NDR Sub-Lane: Failed delivery attempts now appear in a separate sub-lane in the OMS, making it easier to track and manage such shipments.
  • Delivery Partner Insights: View reasons for failed attempts, such as “Customer Unreachable” or “Incorrect Address,” along with comments from delivery partners, helping identify and resolve root causes.

Take Action on Failed Deliveries

Merchants can:

1. Reattempt Delivery: Provide key details to ensure successful delivery, including:

  • The next delivery reattempt date after consulting the end customer.
  • Notes or special instructions for the delivery partner.
  • Corrections to the shipping address or mobile number.

2. Mark for RTO: Mark shipments for Return to Origin if delivery is no longer viable.

3. Automate Workflows: Simplify the process with configurable automatic actions:

  • Define the maximum number of delivery reattempts allowed.
  • Automatically trigger RTO if all reattempts are unsuccessful.
  • Auto-initiate reattempts when a delivery attempt fails.

Enhancement

Customisable Admin Events for Communications

We’ve introduced admin events on the Fynd Commerce, allowing merchants to create custom templates for several previously unsupported events, including Delayed Shipment, Custom Delayed Shipment, Not Reachable, Shipment RTO, Account Details, and Refund - Bank Details.

With this enhancement, the system will prioritise a merchant's custom DLT templates during SMS re-triggers. If a custom template is unavailable, the default template will be used. To support merchants in adopting this feature, subsidised plans will be offered to help them acquire their own DLT IDs.

New Feature

Progressive Web App (PWA) Support for Storefronts

Storefronts built using React or Vue now support Progressive Web App (PWA) functionality. This enables storefronts to deliver app-like experiences with features like better performance, and improved customer engagement.

A Progressive Web App (PWA) is a web application that combines the best features of websites and native apps. Customers can add your store to their home screen directly from their browser for easy access, just like a mobile app. It delivers fast performance, and an app-like experience on any device, all through the web browser. PWAs are reliable, responsive, and work seamlessly without requiring downloads from an app store.
