This innovative virtual shopping assistant was created with early access to Meta’s newly released open-source large language model, Llama 2.

The Llama 2 model, developed by Meta in conjunction with Microsoft, represents the next generation of open-source large language models. Its availability for free--for research and commercial use encourages innovation and collaboration across the industry.

Fynd was granted access to the 7B and 13B parameters of Llama 2 before its public release and created a virtual shopping chatbot for retailers. The chatbot was built to efficiently address users’ queries across a wide range of products and deliver personalized recommendations. It was brought to life through two finely-tuned models:

Intent Detection Model: Identifying users' intentions based on their conversations, ensuring seamless interactions.

Conversational Chat Model: Generating prompt replies, answering questions, and offering personalized product recommendations, providing a delightful shopping experience.
