Rules to remember
- A Product Family requires a Project.
- Forge can create a Product without a Product Family, but the hierarchy improves organisation and reporting.
- Use Variants for versions of the same Product, not for unrelated Products.
Ready when
- Projects have a clear purpose.
- Product Families group genuinely related Products.
- The hierarchy will remain understandable as more Products are added.
