Why this connection matters: A Station cannot be created without a valid Site.
Step-by-step in Forge
Navigation: Manufacturing → Factory setup → Sites
- Open Sites: In the Forge left navigation, open Factory setup and select Sites.
- Start a new record: Select Create Site in the upper-right corner.
- Enter the identity: Complete Name, a unique Code, Address, and Timezone.
- Select ownership: Choose the Plant that owns and operates this Site.
- Save and verify: Select Save, then confirm the Site appears in the Sites list.

Rules to remember
- A Station cannot be created without a valid Site.
- Do not create a separate Site for every room or workstation; use Stations for that detail.
- Use globally understandable names rather than local abbreviations without explanation.

- Users can distinguish Sites without relying only on codes.
