Discover how Instaghar partnered with Fynd to build a hyperlocal grocery platform with unified ecommerce, multi-store fulfillment, intelligent order routing and Transport Management System.

Instaghar is a hyperlocal grocery and FMCG retailer that delivers fresh fruits, vegetables and daily essentials. As the business expanded to serve multiple neighborhoods and fulfillment locations, it needed more than an ecommerce website. It needed a connected commerce platform that could manage online ordering, inventory, deliveries and rider operations from a single platform.
To help Instaghar build a scalable foundation for hyperlocal growth, Fynd implemented a complete commerce and logistics solution by combining Fynd Commerce with Fynd Transport Management System (TMS).
Instaghar set out to build a digital-first grocery business serving fresh fruits, vegetables and FMCG products. However, launching a hyperlocal commerce business required much more than an online storefront. The business needed a platform that could support ordering, fulfillment and delivery from day one while remaining scalable as operations expanded.
As Instaghar planned to operate multiple dark stores, it needed a centralized way to manage inventory and fulfill orders efficiently. The goal was to route every order to the right fulfillment location while maintaining accurate inventory visibility as the business scaled.
Fast grocery delivery depends on more than having riders on the road. Instaghar wanted a delivery operation that could intelligently assign riders, optimize routes and provide complete visibility into every shipment. Building these capabilities from the beginning would help support reliable deliveries while reducing operational complexity.
Rather than managing ecommerce and delivery operations on separate systems, Instaghar wanted a connected platform where online ordering, fulfillment and transportation worked together.
Fynd designed and deployed a responsive ecommerce storefront tailored for grocery businesses with product discovery, secure checkout, customer accounts, order tracking and multiple payment options. Instead of assembling multiple tools, Instaghar launched with a digital commerce experience designed to support daily operations and future growth.
Fynd centralized Instaghar's product catalog, inventory and fulfillment operations across multiple dark stores. The platform automatically routes every order to the most suitable fulfillment location based on inventory availability, customer PIN code and delivery zone. This reduces manual decision-making, improves inventory utilization and enables the business to scale fulfillment operations with confidence.
Fynd configured radius-based and PIN code-based delivery zones with support for two-hour delivery slots and same-day delivery. Automated customer notifications keep shoppers informed throughout the order lifecycle, while flexible delivery configurations allow Instaghar to expand into new neighborhoods without redesigning its delivery operations.
Fynd integrated Commerce with its Transport Management System (TMS), allowing every online order to flow directly into shipment creation, rider assignment, route optimization and delivery tracking. Instead of coordinating multiple systems manually, Instaghar manages the complete order-to-delivery workflow from a single platform, improving operational efficiency and reducing administrative effort.
Through the TMS Control Tower and Rider App, operations teams can monitor rider locations, active deliveries and shipment status in real time. Riders receive optimized routes, manage deliveries through a mobile application, collect Cash on Delivery payments and capture proof of delivery in the field. This gives the business greater operational visibility, improves delivery execution and supports growing delivery volumes without increasing operational complexity.
Instaghar launched on a platform designed to support multiple fulfillment locations, expanding delivery zones and growing order volumes without requiring separate systems for commerce and logistics.
Automated store selection, shipment creation, rider allocation and route optimization reduced manual effort across the order-to-delivery workflow. Teams can process and fulfill orders more efficiently while maintaining operational consistency as the business grows.
Commerce teams now manage products, inventory, customers and orders from a centralized platform, while logistics teams monitor riders, deliveries and shipment performance through a single Control Tower dashboard. This provides better operational oversight and supports faster decision-making.
Customers can browse products, place orders, track deliveries and receive real-time notifications through a seamless shopping journey. By connecting commerce, fulfillment and transportation on one platform, Instaghar delivers a reliable hyperlocal shopping experience while giving internal teams the tools to scale operations efficiently.
A hyperlocal commerce platform enables businesses to sell and deliver products within a defined geographic area. It connects ecommerce, inventory management, order fulfillment and last-mile delivery to help businesses provide faster and more reliable local deliveries.
Businesses use multi-store inventory management to maintain visibility across dark stores and fulfillment locations. Orders are automatically routed to the most suitable location based on inventory availability, customer location and delivery zones, helping reduce manual effort and improve fulfillment efficiency.
A Transport Management System (TMS) helps businesses manage last-mile delivery by automating shipment creation, rider assignment, route optimization, delivery tracking and proof of delivery. It provides real-time visibility into delivery operations from dispatch to completion.
Integrating ecommerce with delivery operations eliminates manual coordination between order processing and logistics. Orders flow seamlessly from checkout to fulfillment, rider assignment and delivery, improving operational efficiency and creating a better customer experience.
Fynd provides a unified commerce platform that combines ecommerce, multi-store inventory management, intelligent order routing and Transport Management System capabilities. This enables grocery and FMCG businesses to expand delivery coverage, manage multiple fulfillment locations and streamline last-mile operations from a single platform.
A modern grocery ecommerce platform should include responsive storefronts, product catalog management, secure checkout, OTP-based customer login, real-time inventory visibility, multi-store fulfillment, delivery zone configuration, order tracking, multiple payment options and integrated last-mile delivery management.
