Step-by-step in Forge
Navigation: Manufacturing → Station work area → Current operation
- Open the unit: At the Station work area, scan the finished-unit serial and open the current operation.
- Open Materials: Select the Components or material-consumption section.
- Scan serialised material: Scan every required Component serial and verify the matched Component.
- Enter bulk quantities: Select the lot or location and enter the quantity consumed for non-serialised material.
- Complete the operation: Review the captured material and select Complete to write consumption and genealogy.

Rules to remember
- Serialised Components cannot be substituted with a quantity-only entry.
- Quantity consumption must match the configured requirement.
- Material should be transferred before the unit reaches the Station that consumes it.
