Manual Product Sorting Now Available in Merchandising for Collections
Merchants can now manually reorder products within collections using drag-and-drop or bulk upload. This allows them to prioritize featured or popular products in both handpicked and rule-based collections. Once set, the manual order is shown to new visitors by default and remains fixed until updated.
For storefront customers, this manual order is shown by default on the first visit. In the sort options, the “Manual” label has now been replaced with “Popularity” — making it easier for shoppers to discover trending products as intended by the merchant.
