Advanced User Group and Customer Attribute Management for Customer Cohort

This feature enables a flexible and comprehensive system to manage customer attributes and customer cohorts, grouping customers with similar characteristics within the sales channel. Sellers can either bulk-upload customers into a user group or define characteristics that automatically include customers in a specific user group.

Selecting Stores While Inviting Store Staff

In the existing system, platform users invite others through teams to use the system. However, there is no option to provide access to a specific store while sending invitations. Consequently, the inviting user needs to access the platform twice – once before sending the invite and then again after the invitee registers.
With this feature, the inviting user can edit stores while sending the invite (P0 priority). In later phases, we will also provide the option to upload users and access details in bulk.

Steps:

1. Login to the Fynd platform.

2. Navigate to Teams > Invite.

3. Click Invite.

4.  Enter an email address or mobile number and click the Search button. Go to Customised Invite.

5. The following list will appear:

• Unregistered - Users who are being invited
• Pending - Users who have been sent an invite but are yet to accept it
• Registered - Users who have registered using the invite link, but are yet to be added as staff
• Staff - Users who have been added as a staff member

6. Seller can individually invite users by clicking Send Invite or invite them all at once using Invite All.

7. Give permission to the invited staff to access the sections.

8. Order Role is used to decide the permissions that the staff would have in the Order Management System (OMS).

9. Staff can view or edit the orders of only those stores which are defined here under Store Access.

10. Select the sales channel and its sections to which staff will get access.

11. Seller can also click on Edit Store Access to edit stores while sending the invite. Select the store from the dropdown and click ok.

12. Click Send Invite and wait for the users to accept the invite and register in the application.

Fynd Platform Custom Objects

Custom object helps create custom data structures or entities which are not present on the Platform. As sellers create new objects within the Fynd Platform, they have the flexibility to associate custom fields with these objects. In essence, custom objects enable customization, personalization, and the management of specific object instances with unique data.

Sellers will be able to integrate the JioCX SMS provider for improved SMS communication efficiency. This enhancement includes user-friendly settings and support to ensure a seamless integration process, focusing on enhancing user satisfaction.

Time Zone  & Currency Support Enhancement

In this feature, both in the admin and platform interfaces, we ensure that date, time stamps, and time zones align with the seller's browser settings. Furthermore, when displaying currency, it will now reflect the currency of the seller's country of origin or the organization's base currency. This update aims at synchronizing time and currency information with the seller's preferences.

Multi Checkbox: App Plan & Web Plan

Given the introduction of the Fynd Platform app, it's logical to introduce a dedicated plan exclusively for the app. Currently, our plans are designed to serve both web and app users.

To establish a clear separation, we can integrate a checkbox during plan creation, permitting plans to be designated for web, app, or both. This distinction will ensure that, when viewing the web version, plans supporting web and both will be presented, while in the mobile app, plans supporting the app or both will be showcased.

Revised List of SAC Code

The SAC (Services Accounting Code) is a unique code that identifies specific services for taxation purposes. When there are revisions to SAC codes and their corresponding descriptions, it means that changes have been made to the classification or categorization of certain services for taxation.

We have revised our SAC codes and their corresponding descriptions. These revisions have been in effect since October 1st, and any invoices generated after this date will reflect the updated SAC codes and descriptions.

Central Invoice Enhancement

1. Invoice payment details visibility to sellers and finance admin:If the invoice payment completed or there was an attempt to pay the invoice, the details of the payment will be visible to the sellers and the finance admin. The details can be seen in both, the platform and the admin panel.

2. Proforma invoice visibility in admin panel: In this enhancement, once the payment is completed and the tax invoice is generated, the proforma invoice will no longer be visible to the seller in the admin panel. Previously, the proforma invoice was accessible in the invoice section of the admin panel, but this enhancement removes that option.

3. Rendering of all invoices (proforma or tax) when clicked: All invoices, whether they are proforma or tax invoices in the administrator or platform side, is open and displayed when clicked.

4. Ability to download unpaid invoices: All unpaid invoices, including proforma or tax invoices, are now available for download in both the administrator and platform sections.

Partial Order Validation

This enhancement ensures that in cases of partial orders when the forward and cancelled quantities match, the system treats it as a standard order rather than a partial one. This adjustment eliminates the ambiguity in order status and significantly enhances the accuracy of order management.
In a specific scenario where the placed quantity is four, and two quantities are initially marked as "cancelled_fynd." but before the forward entry is delivered, another two quantities are sent. This adjustment eliminates ambiguity in order status and enhances accuracy of order management.

Logistic as Actual flag

This enhancement is designed for internal record-keeping purposes and for collecting data of companies that are using logistics services at the actual cost, which means they charge customers the exact amount incurred from the logistics companies.

To facilitate this, we have introduced a flag that will be integrated into all the pricing plans. Seller will be able to see this flag displayed in the price plan, as illustrated in the sample image.

Platform UI Changes for Extensions and Themes

In this feature, we've optimized the process for users to access and manage extensions and themes within the Fynd Platform seller panel. The key improvements include:

Contextualised Extension Usage: The location of extension usage will now depend on the Extension Type.

• A General extension with a launch type of 'Company' will now be available in the Company section in Extensions tab
• A General extension with a launch type of 'Application' will be accessible under Sales Channel in Extensions Tab
• Logistics Extensions will be available in the Logistics Tab in the Company Section.
• Payments Extension will be available in Payment Settings in the required Sales Channel.

Extensions Settings:

• We are introducing Extensions Settings under Company Settings → Extensions.
• Merchants can now access extension information, seek support, and uninstall extensions directly from here.
• All private extensions available for installation will be listed under 'Private Installable' tab

When the customer selects their country, the platform will dynamically adapt address fields, including state options. Furthermore, the selected country's currency will be automatically set.

In a continuous effort to improve debugging capabilities, we are introducing a feature that creates a comprehensive and user-friendly log table in the Order Management System (OMS) page. The table offers detailed information about failed orders, including the request and response messages for better understanding.

Ajio Fraud Detection Extension

The Ajio Fraud Detection Extension is designed to dynamically control various aspects related to fraud prevention:

• Non-Returnable Flag: Flag all shipments within an order as non-returnable, effectively disabling the return option for customers, regardless of whether the product is typically returnable.

• Non-Cancellable Designation: Designate all shipments in order as non-cancellable, blocking customers from accessing the cancel button, even if the product is usually cancellable.

Cart Line Item Injection & Manipulation Fee Injection

For any additional type of fees not supported in core, an extension for the same can be created, where the extension will be exposed to all the items in customer's shopping cart. Extensions will also have the ability to add extra fees or voluntary contributions to the final amount.

For instance, if a convenience fee extension is enabled on a sales platform, it can apply convenience fees to the order based on predefined conditions in the extension. If these conditions are not met, the extension can inject convenience fees which will be shown in the cart breakdown to the customer, and this information will be forwarded to the OMS once the order is placed.

These changes impact the following charges:

• Donations (added to the total cost)
• Convenience Fee/Platform Fee (added to the total cost)

4. In the Search Engine Optimization popup window, enter the level and the respective value in the Breadcrumbs.

5. Select the priority in the Priority field.

6. Select the priority in the Frequency field.

7. Enter meta tags for the SEO.

Component Library for Global Sections

Sellers can add a section in the theme editor, customize it as needed, and designate it as a Global Component.
When a section becomes a global component, it resides separately from the default sections and any modifications to the global component will reflect at all the places where the component has been used in the storefront.

2. Go to Sales Channel > Appearance > Themes > Edit Theme > Home page.

3. Click Add Section or go to the already existing section.

We've improved the search results and visibility by introducing JSON-LD schema at the application level. Schema consists of tags or microdata added to HTML, making it easier for search engines to understand and present pages in search results.

Enabling International Country Codes In Customer Support Forms

In the existing system, the mobile number input he Customer Support displays dialling codes based on pre-configured options in the relevant sales channel's Authentication settings. This update streamlines the selection of accurate country codes during customer support interactions.
