Omnichannel means integrating various channels and touchpoints of sale, aiming to give a seamless experience to the consumers. It interconnects and unifies presence offline in traditional brick and mortar stores as well as across multiple online platforms like brand website, third party marketplaces like Amazon, Flipkart, Fynd, Ajio etc., across social media platforms, and so on all devices.
In multichannel each channel of sale operates and gets managed independently whereas in omnichannel these channels are interconnected, managed centrally and customers can seamlessly hop from one to the other and get consistent experience spanning across all channels. Learn more
With multi-channel commerce, each channel for the same brand ends up competing against each other, brand juggles between managing all channels individually and gets scattered access of data. While with omnichannel commerce, brands can leverage all channels that operate in harmony, create a holistic experience for its consumers, enhancing overall sale closures, and gets easy data access from all channels.
With the increased number of touch points for consumers, managing large number of channels and allowing consumers to use them interchangeably as per their convenience becomes challenging. Omnichannel bridges the gaps between each touch point, removes friction and offers smoother and more convenient accessibility for your consumers, hence increasing your sale, and empowers you to centrally manage all your channels reducing your liabilities.
Omnichannel solutions help the brands to create customized and personalized end-to-end customer experiences, increases brand loyalty, customer acquisition & retention, in increasing average basket size for shoppers, driving more traffic and sales (in-store and online), fulfilling orders from warehouse and stores, centrally managing all channels, removing redundant and duplicated management systems, giving transparency across channels and easy access to centralized data.
