Globus is an Indian retail brand that was founded in 1998 and their very first store was launched in Indore in 1999. Rajan Raheja Group, which owns the brand, now boasts of having Globus stores in many cities in India, including Bilaspur, Jalandar, Kolkata, Raipur, Pune and Chennai. Globus has 18 Store all over India. The company headquarters are in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Initially starting out as a large format store, Globus Stores has begun to establish small format stores to deal with the changing nature of the retail market. Globus targets the youth with a choice of Indian and western outfits and is distinguished by its Indo-Western wear, which brings together modern cuts and design with Indian prints. Catering to men and women, Globus carries casual wear, occasion wear and traditional apparel of fine quality. Globus also offers a complementing selection of jewellery and accessories in a bid give their patrons a versatile range. Globus also has other private labels such as the unisex, youth-directed F21, Essentials, and Poetry. The company has avoided tying up with foreign investors as it wants to maintain its identity of having only indigenous private labels.
